P2 ECE Project Training on Early Childhood Education courses adapted to include special education

On August 6th, 2013, the Preparing Paraprofessionals for Early Childhood Education (P2 ECE Project) hosted training for the Colorado Community College Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Faculty to include special education and inclusive content as a part of the P2 ECE project. The P2 ECE project staff with the community college ECE faculty will continue to review and add to the Bank of Resources for selected ECE courses as well as establish ECE practicum guidelines. This project will also conduct with Pikes Peak Community College and Arapahoe Community College a pilot study offering the adapted coursework enhancing special education and inclusive content.
