On August 6 & 7, 2013, the Hybrid Comprehensive Training of Paraprofessionals in Early Intervention Services (Hybrid CO-TOP*EIS) project provided training on the online Developmental Intervention Assistant courses. Representatives from 11 out of the 13 Colorado Community Colleges and more than half of the Early Intervention Colorado providers out of the 20 Colorado Community Centered Boards (CCBs) attended this collaborative training. The primary purpose of the training was to share the hybrid and online course materials for DI Assistants that has been developed under the project. The training facilitated collaboration among the community colleges and CCBs to explore how these courses can be used for professional development for other job categories in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Education.
- Day one: CO-TOP*EIS Developmental Intervention Assistant, Early Intervention content and supervision techniques and strategies
